We’re excited to announce that Elk Creek’s debut EP, titled Greenfield Project, will be released on July 1, 2014. The 7-song EP was recorded at Ultrasuede Studio in Cincinnati, owned by Afghan Whigs bassist John Curley. It was recorded and mixed by Brian Niesz, who has worked with artists including Heartless Bastards, The Sundresses, and Wussy in the studio, and hundreds of touring bands at WOXY. It was mastered by Dave Davis of The All Night Party. The album artwork will feature the illustrations of Matthew Stoll.
The video above was produced by Mooseboy Productions and documents our first day in the studio, back in February, recording the song “Moonshine”.
The full track listing for the EP is:
- Bound to Break
- Moonshine
- Hard to Say
- Gold in My Hand
- Cathexis
- Undone
- Front Porch
The EP will be available on Spotify, iTunes, Bandcamp, and other digital outlets. It will also be available on CD at Rock Paper Scissors in Cincinnati and at our live shows.
